Ian Campbell lives in beautiful Ontario Canada. He has over fifteen years as an ERP consultant, the last ten years as a functional consultant on PeopleSoft’s Financials and Supply Chain Management suites. Ian has been a Project Lead and Functional Lead on many of PeopleSoft’s financial and supply chain management modules but in recent years he has become an expert in the SCM applications such as: eProcurement, sProcurement, Inventory, Purchasing, Payables and others. He has participated in several implementations and upgrades in various industries including public sector, higher education, healthcare, and insurance. For fun, Ian enjoys camping, snowmobiling, cooking and playing with his kids.
Ian’s highlights:
10 years of PeopleSoft functional experience working on Financials & SCM Systems and Process Improvement, participating many times in the full SDLC including project planning and administration, issue tracking, project roll-out, communications and end-user training from PeopleSoft versions 8.4 to 9.x.
Participated on implementations, upgrades and process analysis for several high profile clients: Government of Alberta, Standard Life Insurance, United Nations Office for Project Services, Hennipen Medical Center, Brookdale Senior Living, Nationwide Insurance, Cities of Windsor, Winnipeg, University of Windsor and the Regions of York and Durham.
Working knowledge of PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Component Interface, App Engine, PS Query (SQL).
Deep knowledge of User Security, Profiles, Roles, Permission Lists, Row-Level Security and other workflow configurations.
Extensive experience performing configuration, setup and testing support for new modules and business processes.
In depth experience educating functional-users, super-users and self-service users on core finance and supply chain business processes.
15 years of experience developing system specifications & RICE documents for projects to meet new business requirements.
10 years deep experience in designing, developing/troubleshooting & teaching nVision, custom drill downs, using trees/scopes and SQL for management report distribution as well as Financial statements to GAAP and IFRS standard.
Multiple implementations developing test plans to ensure reliable project implementation.
