As
a rule of thumb, I post ALL of my job orders on ERP-Consulting.com
because I know I’m reaching out to an audience of high-level, quality
consultants.
Recently I received a job
order from a client in the Aerospace and Defense industry. They needed
a technical Oracle resource with a broad, specialized skill set that
included EDI, eCommerce Gateway, Workflow, and Oracle
development. Because of their industry, I could only present US
Citizens.
Shortly after posting the position, while busy fending off the non-US
resources I get from the other major job boards, I received the ideal
applicant through ERP-Consulting.com. He met all of the qualifications
that I had posted – not the usual, “some of this… a little of that…
knowledge, but no experience of this.” I called the candidate,
and the screening left me impressed – and during the interview process,
the hiring managers felt the same way.
They contacted us and said they wanted to bring the candidate on board
right after the interview. When it came to getting all of the
pre-project paperwork and payroll processes in place, the candidate was
always on the ball, and didn’t give us any issues. This mentality of
doing things the right way was hard-coded into this candidate, which
was one of the reasons that this 3-month project ended up being a 6
month relationship! And even though that project has officially ended,
I am still working with this candidate, and just recently presented him
to another one of our clients.
